HELP FOR ONLINE GIVING

Apache Wells Community Church now offers our members and guests the ability to make donations and purchases (i.e,, event tickets or Columbarium niches and plaques) using their credit or debit cards on our website! 


DONATIONS /  PURCHASES:

NOTE:  Each January, you will receive a  report of your donations given during the previous year.

  • CASH:  You are welcome to bring cash donations during our Sunday services. There are donation envelopes available in the lobby. Please include your name, the donation amount, and any specific fund you want the cash to go to. If a fund is specified, please initial the disclaimer on the front of the envelope. If no fund is specified, we will consider the donation a tithing, and no initials on the disclaimer is necessary.
  • CHECK or MONEY ORDER:  Feel free to bring in your check or money order during our Sunday services.  There are donation envelopes available in the lobby.  You can also mail your check to:  
    • ATTN: Financial Secretary, Apache Wells Community Church, 2115 N. Gayridge Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215-2765.
  • BILL PAY:  You can use your bank's bill paying service if that's more convenient for you!  It's an easy way to have an automatically recurring donation each week, month, or year.  You will need our address (above) to get us set up with your bank as a payment recipient.  If they ask for your "account number" with the church, use your Member/Envelope ID.
  • CREDIT/DEBIT CARD:  Yes, you can use your VISA, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS credit or debit card to make one-time donations, set up recurring donations, or purchase tickets worry-free.  Apache Wells Community Church won't store your credit/debit card information after each transaction.  Plus, the transaction processing company we have contracted with (Vanco) is a member of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), and as such, are forbidden to store the entire credit/debit card number and other critical information after the transaction has been processed successfully, unless you give them permission to do so.
    • In church:  We have a physical credit/debit card reader ("swiper") here at the church for one-time donations and/or to purchase event tickets.  The system will automatically send a receipt to your email address, but if you would like a printed copy of the receipt immediately, please see our Financial Secretary (Marilyn Montgomery), who can print one off for you.
    • By phone:  You can also call in to make a one-time donation or purchase event tickets using your credit or debit card!  Ask for the Financial Secretary, Marilyn Montgomery to help you when you call.
    • Online: Go to our website (apachewellscommunitychurch.org) anytime -- day or night -- to create a one-time donation, set up a recurring donation, or purchase event tickets or Columbarium items.  
    • Here's how:  
      • When the HOME page of our website opens, click on the "Login" link near the upper right-hand corner of the page to log into your existing AWCChurch account  (if you don't have an account with us yet, please create an account for yourself or your family before proceeding.  You'll find a link to Create An Account on the login page). The information you provide will be used during the donation/purchase process, but is not shared elsewhere.
      • After logging in, and from the HOME page on the website, click on the orange "GIVE" button near the upper right-hand corner of the page.  You will be taken to a new page with colorful boxes (called "tiles") on a white background -- one "tile" for each type of donation or purchase you may be interested in making. The tiles displayed today will change throughout the year so be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page each time to see any tiles that may have been moved or added since your last visit! 
      • Click on the red button shown on the "tile" that interests you, and complete the forms that appear:
        • Donation/Purchase page > Enter the amount, frequency, start date, and optionally, and end date.
        • Add to Basket page > add additional donations or purchases to your basket before checking out
        • Payment page > enter your credit/debit card information
        • Review and Submit page > review your basket, and make any necessary changes
        • Confirmation page > lets you know that a receipt is on its way to you using the email address you provided when you created your AWCChurch website account.

Call or contact the Church Secretary, Joan Holmes, in our Church Office (just off the front lobby) on Sunday mornings or during the week (Tue-Thurs, 8:30 am to 12;30 pm (Sep-Jun), and Wed-Thurs, 8:30 am to 12;30 pm (July & Aug)) for answers to any questions you may have.

  Online Giving


NOTE:  In the case of ANY collections received, if the donation is for a specified project, and the donation brings the fund for that project to a level which exceeds the amount needed for completion of the project, Apache Wells Community Church reserves the right to place the unused portion of the donation into the General Fund.
